I bought a ryzen 9 7950x cpu. When i built my pc and tried to install windows it restarted by itself, i've barely managed to install it. I tried booting from different disks (ssd, hdd) and nothing worked. But i could boot from live os usbs. After days of troubleshooting and testing components i noticed that PCB (potential core boost) was on auto, when i disabled it i was able to boot into windows and the pc worked just fine i could do all i want and leave it on for a long period and it didn't restart. I put PCB in auto again to double-check and the restarts came back. I think the motherboard is fine EXPO works just fine i could get my rams to work at 6000mhz with no issues. I looked up in the internet for any similar issue with the cpu but i couldn't find anything.
Does anybody know if the cpu is faulty or what's the issue here ?
