Hello everyone, i have tried for the last couple of days to find out why my 3700x just keeps spiking so much, it dosent stay at 90 degrees but does spike into 91 for a second, then drops down again to 79-83 range. Should i be worried about it spiking into 90? It is a very demanding title (Prepar3D, flight simulation) but i do have a decent aftermarket cooler the artic ARCTIC Freezer 34 eSports DUO and two intakes fans and one right next to the cpu to blow out the warm air.
Also i found changing the power setting max to 99% drops the temps all the way down to 65 while the fps ingame are still very high. I am aware that this does do so my CPU locks at 3.6 and low voltage but still, quite a big temp change for not a very huge fps change.
My case is the Corsair Carbide 400C
