Hi guys!
So I bought a an RX7800XT Autumn of 2024, and was fairly happy about it early on, but lately its been what feels like a **bleep**show. First of all; The new drivers SUCK to say the least. As a CS2 Gamer I can't play in 4:3 without the 25.x.x updates absolutely tanking the performance. I have reverted back to older drivers, but even then I have to manually go and install the older version of the drivers every other day, because the auto-update (which I have tried to disable on multiple occasions), just doesn't actually fully disable.
And on the side of this, I can't even make custom resolutions IN the AMD radeon software, because that makes the game black-screen. Even the 4:3 res I use in CS. This causes instant black-screen in the game.
I hope someone else has any fix to this or that AMD actually fixes their **bleep**ING driver, because its been like this since January and every serious company should FIX THEIR **bleep**ING BUGS FAIRLY quick.
So if anyone has any actual solutions to this, i am all ears
