Hi all. I have the MSI RX480 8 GB version. I love this card because it’s great! But sometimes it gives me horrible performance.
-For example, I play Age of Empires 2 DE at over 300-400 FPS and all the animations are buttery smooth! Lovely! That is when I see the GPU usage is at 95-100%.
-Things get really weird when I open it and I get 60-70 FPS and the GPU usage is 0-10% :(. I get micro-stutters and the animations are just not terrible.
-I don’t understand why this happens. Why is the card sometimes going bipolar with performance? -I have reinstalled: 1-MSI afterburner 2-AMD Radeon drivers And I also added the specific display drivers for my gaming monitor, I still get the same issues!!
