Hello,
I need some serious help. I upgrades my PC from a SFF with a GT1030 Low profile and a I5 2400 to the specs on the subject, a completely other PC i bought used, as i did with the first one. Thais os my first full AMD Desktop.
I exchanged the RAM from the first PC, with is also DDR3, to haver 16gb instead of the 8gb it had when ir came to me.
Then i bought a 1tb SSD, where i installed all my Steam games, when the old PC had the same games installed on a HDD.
The system is Windows 11 Pro, and when i first booted the PC it Run fine until i tried to game. Any type of game would freeze the new PC, and i started troubleshoouting.
1st - Swapped the old RAM again and it still happened;
2nd - Tried the old PC SSD's system, with Windows 10, it booted and worked fine, but as soon as i tried gaming, same freeze;
3rd - Tried update everything and it was already updated, then i configured everything to high performance mode, i disabled the virtualization and it was better, i can play non stop some Low end games like art of rally.
However, if try to play some thing that ran fine on the older PC, like Dirt 3 or Grid AutoSport, ir freezes on 5 minutes ir less, and doesnt respond to any command from the keypad, not even the W + Alt + Delete. Ir stays frozen until i hard reset it.
I need some help because i tried vários things and it is supposed to be a better setup than the first one... But it isn't anywhere close...
