Hey
Yesterday I upgraded my PC with an RX 6800XT and a Ryzen 7 3700x CPU, Everything working just fine but when I try to install the GPU driver, screen goes to black and I have to go to safeboot and remove gpu driver from device manager, I reinstalled windows 2 times and nothing changed...
Im sure driver is correct and up 2 date ( downloaded from amd official website )
I did reset my CMOS
This is my spec:
Ryzen 7 3700x
RX 6800XT
32 GB of Ram
PSU 2000W Greatwall
Motherboard B350 Prime Plus ( Bios Ver 6232 )
I was just about to post a link to a hotfix for anyone with rtx50 series or rtx40 series NVIDIA cards because you can't download it just by typing it into the website or update using the app, but then i saw you had a Ryzen card.
My guess is its your GPU...Try this
(MAKE SURE YOUR IN SAFE MODE, THEN DO THE FOLLOWING)
1) uninstall the existing drivers using display driver uninstaller while in Safe Mode.
2)Download the latest driver. (I would personally grab a driver that is more stable if your driver just came out.
3)now install the latest AMD drivers from scratch in SAFE MODE. Link is below for Windows.

4) Now restart back into regular windows and hopefully the black screen issue is gone.
*I got this off google , but apparenlty undervolting the 6800XT helps with stability. Thats up to you if you want to give that a try. I feel more comfortable recommending you use DDU in safe mode and clear out every part of the last driver you been trying to use, and install the prior one that is stable.
Good luck brother.
Thanks for replying my post but it not worked 😞
The AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT has been reported to have issues such as black screens, crashes, and texture problems. These issues can be intermittent, happening after a specific time of gaming, or consistently. Possible causes include driver issues, power supply problems, and conflicts with other hardware components.
Potential Issues and Solutions:
Black Screen/Crashes:
Black screens or game crashes can be caused by various factors. Troubleshooting steps include:
Driver Issues: updating or reinstalling drivers, even trying older versions. Using Display Driver Uninstall (DDU) to clean the drivers before reinstalling is also recommended.
Power Supply: Daisy-chained PCIe cables on the power supply can sometimes cause problems, according to other users. Replacing the power supply or using separate PCIe cables can resolve this.
Hardware Conflicts: Problems with RAM (XMP profiles), other components, or even cable extenders can also cause issues.
Undervolting/Underclocking: Some users have reported success with undervolting or underclocking the GPU to reduce strain.
Texture Problems:
Textures not loading properly or crashing can also be a problem,
Driver Updates: Ensuring the latest AMD drivers are installed can help resolve texture issues.
Power Supply: A weak power supply can also contribute to texture problems.
General Troubleshooting:
Check Temperatures: Ensure the GPU and CPU temperatures are within acceptable ranges.
BIOS Updates: Keeping the BIOS of the motherboard up to date can help with stability.
Windows Settings: Adjusting Windows power settings can sometimes help.
FreeSync: Disabling FreeSync can resolve some issues.
SFC scannow: Running the System File Checker can help repair corrupted system files.
Limiting FPS: Limiting the in-game frame rate can also help.
Try all of these.
