I recently got a brand new 6600xt XFX Swft 210 Edition and it works perfectly except for fortnite is pretty much unplayable for me I even dropped all settings to low tried DX12 and its still the same

Maybe someone else playing Fortnite can post, I did a search and found a few posts about it, but I didn't find a solution, maybe check into what is posted in this thread:

same problem here. RX 6600XT, 16GB RAM, RYZEN 7 3700X. Terrible performance in Fortnite which I play the most. Drops from 250fps to mid 30s in intensive areas.

same like please fix that don't make me regrets and sell that for NVIDIA GPU..

at this point i think it may be better to get 3060 for the cost of 10 fps less in other games

yea 10 fps less but more stable..
i prefer 100 fps stable than 110 with deeps bellow 60.
