I was making this post because I have no idea why, but every time I use my PC lately with a Pacific graphics card, I seem to get this incredibly strange and weird error. It's not exactly native to video games, but whenever I use something with higher graphics, it does seem to make this error more often than if I were to make it on a regular desktop session. At any random point, no matter what the circumstances may be, my entire middle screen goes completely black and my two side screens go green for absolutely no reason that I can explain. I'm using Linux, however I have also seen this error happen on Windows on my secondary drive as well. I did upgrade my BIOS once and it went away for a while, but then started to come back again. I upgraded my BIOS again and it did disappear for a while to the point I did it again and it never seems to stop. So I don't think this is an alternative fix. As of this point, it's been happening over for a year now and my head is about to explode if I don't get this fixed already. Every single time I want to play a video game, it has to be interrupted. At this point it may be a CPU question, but I have never seen this problem with my i9. I have only ever seen it with my AMD after I switched over from my Nvidia card which was a 3070 Ti. My hardware is:
MB: ROG STRIX Z590-E GAMING WIFI
GPU: Radeon RX 6950 XT
CPU: i9-10900K (3.70GHz)
As of this point, I am not able to find absolutely any fix online, so if anyone has an idea of what's happening, please let me know. Thanks in advance! 🙂
(This is what it looks like)
