I have an RX 580 GPU. While this GPU is old, I was still able to hit 180-200 FPS in Counter-Strike. But, out of nowhere, I am now stuck on 15-50 FPS, and the fps is very unstable. I have not swapped any components and I am not thermal throttleing. A quick look at Task Manager shows me that my PC barely even uses my GPU. I've also ran into this issue in other games, so it is a global issue. Why is my PC not utilising my GPU?

Open Device Manager, Display Adapters, right-click on your card and open Properties, check the Driver tab. Is the driver provider AMD or Microsoft?

Windows Update may have pushed down a Microsoft driver and replaced the AMD driver. If you download the latest Adrenalin package it should take care of it. There are also some tricks you can do to prevent Windows Update from replacing drivers.
