I just generated an ErrorLog and submitted it here: PC Crash Report
You can find the CrashLogGenerator.exe in your Call of Duty game directory, and then under `\_retail_`

For me the entire path is: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Call of Duty\_retail_\CrashLogsGenerator.exe"

I submitted my report!! Come on guys, no point in complaining if we don't do our part to help fix it!!!

hey guys still no solutions?

i have 7900xtx nitro plus with ryzen 7800x3d

MP is running on 300 fps smooth, rebirth 260 smooth, Verdansk is stuttering tearing unplayable peace of garbage game play...

Still no fixes?

i tried anything from optimalization, reinstallig game, amd software, different configs in game, overclocking cpu gpu and notging worked for me

There's nothing you can do to fix it. It's not a issue with any of our setups or settings. It's a game problem and it was finally announced by Activision via there support website, and it was posted on X by Charlie Intel. All we can do is hope there is a optimized game update.

Boyz think about it - the first thing, on the following Activision site they need from every player with issues! (CrashLogsGenerator.exe) how Bram1903 wrote.

>>> They need the error log zip file after generate <<<

Hardware/Config: Win11 with 2TB SSD - MB GB X670 Gaming X AX V2 - RAM Richtek 2x16GB DDR5@3000MHz (Expo1) - CPU Ryzen 7 9800X3D - GPU XFX RX 7900XTX 24GB bl. Ed. - 1000W Power - Samsung Monitor Odyssey G8 240Hz

I sent mine!!

I still don't understand why they need crash logs—our problem is stuttering. What does that have to do with it? I don't get it. If someone could shed some light on this, I'd really appreciate it.

Yes, it means nothing, they already know what problem is. Only to see what GPU and rest of hardware you have, officially.

They should have tested all supported hardware before release. And now asking for crash log,  reflecting that this not their noob mistake, basicly making us fools.

Hey guys. What fps do you get? I'm mainly intrested in your 1% and 0.1% lows. Personally I have the game capped to 90 fps and my 1% low and 0.1% low are around 90 and 85 fps respectively. So with these numbers you would think the game plays really smooth, but that's not the case at all (other games with the exact same numbers play really smooth).

So what's going on? Do you have similar numbers as mine? That is, stable fps but the stutter remains?

I also did a benchmark to see the difference between the current warzone and mw3 zombies (in the map urzikstan, basically previous warzone map, even before the integration). The numbers I got are these (they are frametimes collected with amd adrenalin):

Warzone: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LSMBz1RCZiUIotIUoctgQ_nYQUKQj25K/view?usp=drive_link

Mw3 zombies: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UVzUhdAHeLF1zgnPPuuXTrMWiH_42xdk/view?usp=drive_link

90 fps is low bro, i played urzikstan on 260 fps min fps should be 230 240 idk game was smooth as butter...

i havent got any stuttering in any game...

my setup cost me 3k euros so its rly annoying me to play stupid Verdansk

You didn't really pay attention to what I said.

Update is out. NO Fix.

It was crystal clear—they didn’t even mention it. I wasn’t expecting anything from this patch anyway. Truth is, I don’t expect anything from Activision… they’re completely useless.

There’s a so-called “PC optimizer” in the latest CoDUpdates thread saying we’re pressuring the wrong company—according to him, it’s AMD who should fix this. Everyone’s saying something different… it’s unbelievable.

https://x.com/LookitsAllSkill/status/1917983689356566791

In the end, it’ll somehow be our fault as users—neither AMD’s nor Activision’s. No one’s to blame. All I know is that I had zero issues before the Verdansk patch, and I think all of you can say the same. So, whose fault is it then?

Soooo I bought a 7900xtx specifically because warzone was supposed to perform better on AMD. Now I have a paper weight. Great. Intel and Nvidia for the next build.

It's definitely AMD's fault. It only affects the 7000 series, nothing else. We know that Activision releases poorly optimized games and that other GPUs also experience FPS drops and texture issues in Verdansk... but nothing compared to our stuttering problem. AMD users still have to wait for another optional driver update to realize that AMD doesn't care about it. Nvidia drops two updates a week. Maybe there's only one guy working on drivers at AMD, and he needs to wait for Lisa to approve it. What a trash Company

It’s normal for us to be frustrated at this point—they drop a ranked patch and the game is still broken... I knew they weren’t going to fix anything with today’s mid-season patch. It was obvious, **bleep** it. It took them a month just to acknowledge the issue—let’s see what happens in the next two weeks.

Nothing will happen. Not in two weeks, and not in the next season either. Nobody at AMD seems to care about all the blame thrown at them. I honestly think this issue isn’t even on their task list. Even @Matt_AMD doesn’t post any updates anymore. It doesn’t really matter if 50 people here say they’ll never buy AMD again... the 7900 XTX is still their flagship GPU! Can you imagine what would happen if this issue were on a 4090 or a 5080/5090? Nvidia would be kicking asses.

Had same issue since verdansk was released! Huge microstutters sometimes unplayable

today I tried turning on and frame generation in game and I was getting 300-330 fps, sometimes dropping to 160ish. It runs SMOOTH. Such a difference I had to play 2-3 games to get used to it. Verdansk is enjoyable again

Hi everyone !

intel i5 14600KF

32gb ram 6000Mhz 30cl

1TB 6000MBps

MSI B760 Gaming Plus WiFi

phillips evnia 1440p 180hz

I am with this topic from the beginning and tried everything the same as you guys. Only thing what work for me to not get so much lagging and crashing during game in verdansk is:

use 25.2.1 driver - this keeps my game from crashes

set up Frame generation in game settings

cup frames to 120 fps in adrenaline

adaptive free sync on in display settings (adrenaline)

Adaptive free sync - AMD optamized in adrenaline game settings

The rest of settings in adrenaline keeping as default.

The game is quite ok with no fps drops but sometimes I have some lagging but it’s quite ok to play. Hope for solution soon. Greets

Hey guys. I see many of you say that rebirth island doesn't suffer from the same issue, but for me it may be just a bit better, but it doesn't feel good, nor is it smooth. As from fps I get good results, average is around 160 (it's capped) and 1% and 0.1% lows around 100 each, but you can feel stutters that don't get reflected in the numbers. I even tested it with the game capped to 90 and 1% and 0.1% lows are around 90 too, still stutters that the numbers don't reflect. Other games, such as dmz or mw3 zombies, feel smooth even with high in game settings.

Windows settings:

Game mode on

Hags on

Refresh rate setting in windows set to the highest possible

Dynamic refresh rate off

Variable refresh rate on

Optimizations for windowed games on

Adrenalin settings:

Radeon chill on and idle and peak fps set to 160 respectively

Radeon enhanced sync on

Adaptive sync compatible on

Try with hags off and in game enable variable rate shading and set local texture streaming on normal everything else low

I just tried that and it's the same.

By the way, doesn't vrs bother you? It makes the graphics look much worse.

100%. Rebirth played way better on my 6700xt. It's awful now.

I already said it earlier in this same thread—Rebirth (at least in my case) doesn’t run 100% smoothly like it did before the Verdansk patch. I get fewer FPS overall and I experience stuttering. Like I mentioned before, it’s not the same horrible, nauseating stuttering as Verdansk (which is unplayable), but I still get small hitches that make the gameplay experience complete garbage.

Our cards just continue to devalue every **bleep**in day.

I had the same problem with micro stuttering in Warzone Verdansk 2025.

FPD varying a lot, I did several procedures, what worked for me was disabling GLOBAL C STATE CONTROL in the BIOS of my card, which solved the micro crashes.

It seems you meant the motherboard BIOS, not the video card, since you can't change or flash vBIOS on the 7000 series. As far as I remember, when I was taking measurements, all the power-saving options were disabled in the BIOS, but the problem still occurred. Also, there are many reports on builds with Intel processors, where power-saving state management works on a different principle. At the moment, I don't have an AMD video card, so I can't test your method, but I'm sure others will be able to and will let you know, it would be good if a solution was found.

In general, I am somewhat surprised again that this problem has not been officially solved in such a long period of time. During this time, I have already managed to sell my 7800 XT, I almost died from a drone swarm attack of Geran-2 in my city, the pick-up point for my order with the RTX 5070 was also got damaged. But fortunately, everything went by with only broken glass in all cases and the transition to the RTX 5070 met my expectations, primarily for generating diffusion images and working in ComfyUI, and also in gaming scenarios.

It's also little bit funny to see that the forum will be down for a whole week, when it seems like new drivers should be released soon.

No, that is not solution, also it makes zero sense.

So your saying there are no stutters? I played this morning and still had issues. Haven't tried after the update tho.

No it's not.
