Same, this was my first and only amd card.

Can’t believe how trash this company is. Thought I was getting a high-end GPU with the 7900 XTX. Never again! 5080, here I come

I am a graphic designer and also do SEO. I need a PC that has high speed. I want to ask if I can buy 8 GB RAM and 256 SSD hard drive for this work. Will it be beneficial for me? You can contact me for more information about this. I will be waiting for your guidance.

Does anyone know anything about this April 22nd update?

I can't download it, it seems to be exclusive to the 7900XTX, and I have a 7800XT. Anyway, it doesn't seem like they're saying anything about the Verdansk issue... I already mentioned that earlier in the thread.

New chipset didn't fix anything.

yes they didn't mention anything about Call of Duty. It was probably an update that was going to come out anyway.

I'm sick and tired with AMD i think im gonna buy a Nvidia...

I’m not planning to change my GPU just for this game — and it’s the game I’ve spent the most hours on, no doubt — but even so, it’s not worth it at all. One thing’s for sure though: if they don’t fix this, I won’t be buying another AMD GPU in the future. That much is clear. But switching GPUs now just to play a recycled map? No thanks… Battlefield drops in October, hopefully it’s better than this crap

I think i found a solution...user mentioned here that he used chatgpt and latencymon and he uninstalled the Realtech audio drivers...i tried and uninstalled the AMD HD sound drivers and the crash gone

What drivers are you using instead ?

I don't understand these things well, but it wouldn't be the first time there was a link between audio and frame drops in warzone. In Urzikstan your frames were basically halved if you ran voice chat on 'all lobby' on some PCs. In verdansk I've tried disabling audio altogether in game but didn't have an effect.

Nah it's not working it still crashing

I think the solution is Intel and Nvidia

If you take a look on Reddit, there are many reports of crashes with NVIDIA GPU's, so I doubt it could be a solution to resolve the random crashes. Intel...forget about it completely.

In any case, it's Activision that needs to fix the problem in Verdansk map you're describing, it had already happened, if I remember correctly, in the past with another map. In fact, as you described, it only occurs on one map, so it's not a GPU problem.

You could try using Battle.net for the game, some say it has been helpful.

Unfortunately, I don't have a card from the RX7000 generation to be of more help to you. I have a 6900XT and a 9070XT on two different PC's, and at the moment I have no problems, both are working perfectly in Warzone.

I think someone already mentioned it here, but I’m not sure… There’s a thread on Reddit with quite a few people CLAIMING that with ultrawide monitors they’re not getting any stuttering. Is anyone here playing on an ultrawide and can confirm?

Yea monitor doesn't matter,it's a game issue.

I have 240hz Oled ultrawide still stuttering like crazy feels like its getting worse everyday lol

I don’t get how there can be so much fake info on Reddit. There’s a thread where several people claim they don’t get any stuttering with ultrawide monitors… Who knows what kind of config they’re running — maybe they always play with FSR3 enabled. People seriously have no clue, it’s insane.

i think they are AMD fan boys or they dont use RX7000 series...Im not AMD fan boy either nvidia fan boy i just want that something i've bought to work and play games without problems

It's the same on FB AMD pages. People swearing their xtx doesn't stutter on warzone. Smh. People just have to pretend to be better i guess.

I'm on an ultra wide screen, the LG 45GS95QE...the stuttering is also present, in fact it doesn't change the screen, in my team, there are several of us with RX7000, Rx9000 and NVIDIA, only the RX7000 have problems... there is only one thing that has fixed the loss of fps and removed the stuttering 100%: do a clean with Cleanup Utility then with Radeon Software Slimmer install only the display driver "display driver for windows" and uncheck everything else... then in the game activate the AMD image generation. at least with that I can activate the anti lag and make my graphics settings as I want in the game or in radeon software... now everything works perfectly well but it annoys me to be forced to activate the AMD image generation. ps.: the story of the audio driver does not work, I tested but it changes absolutely nothing

Turning on frame gen is not a fix,in fact it add more latency. This does not work. The problem is on the Activision side. Nothing,I repeat, nothing we can do settings wise, driver wise or anything else. Activision has to fix it.

It's 200% sure I don't like playing everything with the AMD image generation and the latency that it adds but while waiting for a patch, we have no choice for the moment

I play with ultrawide 3440x1440 and it stutters anyway, i've tried windows 10, windows 11, old drivers, new drivers, game fresh install, maximum settings, minimum settings, pro drivers, adrenalin drivers, and nothing solves it. The unique thing that makes the game in some way playable is locking the frames to 140 or something close to the minimum fps it gets when reaching 1% lows. I just don't understand how can nvidia release 2 ~ 3 drivers a week to solve bugs and AMD only releases one per month, when it does.

Hey! You're not alone — even with high-end rigs like your 7900 XTX, the new Verdansk update is causing serious stuttering and low 1% lows. It’s clearly not a hardware issue — it's something with the new map or game engine optimization.

A few fixes worth trying:

  • Turn off On-Demand Texture Streaming

  • Set Spot Cache to High

  • Try disabling MPO via regedit

  • Enable Radeon Anti-Lag

  • Temporarily lower texture settings even if you have the horsepower

I’ve seen similar issues crop up with performance-heavy applications before — even when working on projects like optimizing a Black car service in Holland  listing for Google. Sometimes the problem isn’t the hardware, but how the system or platform handles loads and resources.

Hope a hotfix drops soon — until then, those tweaks above might help a bit.

Do you guys think this is normal on the Rebirth map?

On the first day I noticed Verdansk wasn’t running well, I jumped into Rebirth and I remember feeling that something was a bit off, but nothing like Verdansk. After many days of barely touching the game, I came back today and now Rebirth is giving me almost the same issue — the stuttering isn’t as bad, but it’s definitely there, and my FPS fluctuate a lot… Is Rebirth running perfectly for you guys? Have you properly tested it?

Yea, finaly acknowledgement from activision. Fingers crossed!

Where did we get acknowledgement??? I've yet to see.

It was on the Activision support website, then CODUpdates retweeted it.

Came here to say the same thing. Rebirth is more forgiving but I'm getting less frames on rebirth on my 7800xt than my 6700xt, albeit with slightly higher settings.

On the first day, I jumped into Rebirth right after seeing how bad Verdansk was running, and I thought it was fine... I did a quick 'test' of a couple matches that I didn’t even finish. But no, it’s definitely not running like it did before this update — not even close. It’s not just lower FPS in some areas, the game just doesn’t feel smooth anymore, it stutters here and there. I’d really like more people in this thread who are still playing Rebirth to share their experience, because I thought it was running well for everyone — but at least in my case, that’s not true. (Please test it properly and let me know how it’s running for you. Two 3-minute matches weren’t enough for me to notice on the first day after the update.)

Your definitely right. Rebirth is not as bad as verdansk but it does still have some issues that are noticeable.

Just tried rebirth, might have slighlty less FPS but zero stutter here.

For me, it’s nothing compared to Verdansk. Verdansk is literally unplayable… it’s stutter after stutter, especially depending on the area. For example, in Farm the stuttering is way less noticeable. I tried capping the FPS in Rebirth and noticed some improvement, but I’m still getting small stutters every now and then. But again, it’s absolutely nothing like Verdansk (verdansk without FSR3 it’s straight-up nauseating for me)

If you experience stutter in rebirth, turn on antilag 2 in graphic settings. It helped me reduce some stuttering

I'd say it's as bad in rebirth for me. I have a 5700x3d and 7800xt.

Has anyone noticed their first game or so is better and the issue gets progressively worse ? Not sure this is always the case for me but I could swear it's always less stuttery at the beginning and gets worse the longer I game.

i think same its getting worse game after game...first game ist always decent 2nd worse 3rd game i usually quitting warzone coz its unplayable i have 7900xtx nitro plus with ryzen 7800x3d
