Hey everyone!  Today the update came out, new map. and it's impossible to play 1% low 60 fps, stuttring crazy. I've tried reinstalling drivers, rolling back to previous drivers, nothing works.

my setup:

9800x3d

MSI x870e Edge

32 gb 6000 cl 30 ram

Asus Tuf  7900xtx

1200w ps

I have the same CPU and GPU and RAM as you and I have the same identical problem. Many others with very similar specs as us are experiencing the same problem. Very upsetting considering how excited I was to play the new update today.  I sure hope we will get a fix soon. Please give us a fix soon AMD. Thanks.

For the old cards, the same problem was fixed a month after the release of urksitant!!!!
Let's be patient, my next graphics card will definitely be an Nvidia!

Same here with 13900ks and 7900xtx.

Had this issue back in Caldera when warzone 2 was just released.  My fps goes from 300+ down to like 120fps.

And the fps just jumps up and down and causes small freeze stutters. 

Have tried everything including running the game on both xbox app and bnet, nothing works to fix it.

same issue with 7800xt and 7800x3d the game was perfect until the Verdansk update, now the game is unplayable. This is really frustrating.. can AMD do something? can i still trust AMD?

Its not only amd, some 40s nvidia cards are also affected.

I got a similar problem: I start playing, everything is buttery smooth 180fps, then 2 minutes in to the game, the game crashes. Happens every game, I haven't been able to complete a single game yet.

Oh and I tried fresh install Windows 10, Windows 11 with all the game compatible drivers on each. All the same problem. Haven't had any problem so far with the card until this game. Although, I am able to play In multiplayer with less problems since I switched to Win 11 (happens once every hour)

Hello everyone, Since the new update Verdansk is stuttering really hard on my setup. Got the 9800x3d, 7900xtx, 64 GB 6000. All other Modes works fine.

Any help? or fixxes?

Insanely bad performance only on Verdansk, Game will run at 220fps but the 1% lows are unbearable. I have seen that the newer GPU's and older GPU's are fine. Seems to be just the 7000 series facing this issue atm.

Having the same problem, 1% lows are terrible, and messes up the mouse input.

Currently running 25.3.2 drivers and chipset up-to-date.

Same issue, I have vsync on at 120fps, it lags hard. I turned on VRR, same thing. I have to use my console at this rate, what a shame to blow goodwill on bad drivers, as usual.

Its so frustrating that for 2 whole days all I see is lots of people having major fps drops in verdsndkusing 7000 series gpus and AMD and call of duty havnt even aknowledged the issue or updated us regarding the issue the lack of communication as per, especially with such a big issue that clearly is hard to miss 

I've managed a temp fix that's not great but enabling frame gen and capping fps to what your average fps is and enabling anti lag its playable, im caping in riva tuner and in the game

Activision is just limiting itself to posting a few statements on Twitter about game fixes, like adding more money/plates, which is fine, but aren’t they going to say anything about such a major issue? We’re talking about it being UNPLAYABLE on the 7000 series from AMD, and neither Activision nor AMD are saying a word? It’s incredible.

Capping FPS to 120 works for me. Its not perfect, but certainly way more playable. Its sad, because i have a 240Hz Monitor, so ideally i will set it back to 240 FPS, when the game or the drivers or both are fixed.

Update from April 16th 2025:

i fixed the stutters!

i just got my New sapphire 9070xt nitro+ installed it, uninstalled the drivers with ddu, removed everything. Restart pc, install latest drivers. No amd Chat stuff. 

no more stutters!

Verdansk runs buttery smooth, i am so happy now 🙂

a normal 9070 would fix the Problem probably as well.

i got lower Power Consumption, lower Temps und same Fps but it feels way Smoother. No dips.

just Constant 234 Fps (Capped).

Im hitting my hdr Shots way more often now ^^

This is only a 7000GPU series issue. You should have no issues on your 9070xt.

just tested with my old 6950XT instead of 7900 XTX, it is still not perfect but incredibly better, stuttering reach 1.5 % max, it is really smother ! It was 6-8 sometimes 10-15% of stuttering with my 7900xtx

Definitvely a big issue with the game and the 7000 series

I’m absolutely sure that if this gets overlooked and they don’t fix it in the short term, it will definitely be my last AMD GPU. There have been too many mistakes, I can't take it anymore.

Same issue here on Verdansk. Micro stutters to 80fps. It’s unplayable.

same problem, FPS drops like never before

sun rays that are not sun rays because the sun is in a different place, sun rays are random and increase in size, they are also in the shooting range... the only help is to look into the dark part of the map, for example, look at the ground...

Hey Man! I have 7900xt pair with 7800x3d and was having the same issue! What I did to fix it was to wipe clean graphics driver using DDU driver unInstaller and install it again same driver! Make sure when you’re uninstalling do it on safe mode! Hope that helps!

I have exactly this problem. 7900xtx 7800x3d. I turned off Hardware accelerated GPU scheduling in windows. I also downloaded the recommended warzone gpu driver, 23.10.2. It is a very old driver from 2023, but that is what Activision recommends for warzone in 2025 (but not bo6). Stuttering is still present, but input lag feels lower.  Complete hellish update. I will probably never buy AMD again.

There's nothing wrong this the latest drivers.
Try change 

• VRAM Scale Target to 65 or 70
  

This fixed the issue of stuttering for me. (I have the 7900 GRE)

Same here 9800x3d and 7900Xt. I'm getting the microstutters only in verdansk, rebirth island is still smooth too. I hope they can fix this

Uninstall the driver using DDU Uninstaller and reinstall the driver again! Make sure chipsets driver are up to date and BIOS! I did this and now is real smooth!!

Do you think, beside other things, we tried to change just GPU instead 7000 ?
Every other GPU works just not 7000.

So after almost a full week with no update or communication to what is going on ive decided im out just bought an rtx 5080 I like amd and what they do for price to performence but unfortunately there's always issues, between delta force being  unplayable with stutters since launch months ago and now warzone I just can't anymore its so frustrating trying to play the games you love but can't

Both my friends bought Nvidia yesterday and they are amazed at how smooth it is to play after the 7900XTX
One bought a 5070ti, the other a 4080.

I dont blame them ive been amd fir 19 years now but its time for a change looking forward to much less stuttering and decent support plus ive started live streaming and ill get the benefits of nvudia broadcast and a superior encoder

try downgrading. I switched to 24.10.1 from 25.3.1/25.3.2 to test any possible fixes and this worked for me with my 5700X3D/7800XT setup. microstutters to all hell making 200FPS feel like 60 and sometimes there would be either freezing or hard drops to 100FPS which is unplayable. I don't know what's the highest driver version anyone can install before facing issues with Verdansk.

for sure it's a driver issue that's causing the regression and COD needs to be aware so AMD can fix it.

Its big chance that is not AMD issue. Since Rebirth works, MP all maps works, even gulag on Verdansk works.
It seems that it does not build shaders properly for 7000 series and verdansk map.
