The latest AMD 25.3.1 drivers have big problems for the RX 7900Xt

The latest AMD 25.3.1 drivers have big problems for the RX 7900XT. Typical AMD. Unfortunately, we can't rely on AMD. Desktop artifacts and flickering screens and fans that seem to turn on randomly. Incredible. After spending a lot of money on the video card. Only problems

The last stable driver for me (7900xtx) is whql-amd-software-adrenalin-edition-24.8.1-win10-win11-aug-rdna. I have been watching it for awhile. First a specific games RTX stopped working. And now its JUST BROKEN... I was hoping it would improve if anything but NOPE! 🤣

No issues running 25.3.1 with my 7900XT reference.

I have RX 7900XTX + 7700X and neither 25.3.1 nor 25.3.2 are usable for me. Screen hangs within 10 minutes of gaming. The crash occurred with every game I tried including PUBG, Into the radius VR, DAVIGO, Space Accident VR and a few others. The last usable driver version was 24.12.1 and I still have to limit boost frequency to about 2200 MHz to prevent crashed with that driver version.

Same problem with the driver.

On RX 7900XTX, I have screen flickering all the time, not only in Chrome. Everything that triggers a window render, and this is basically everything in Windows, flickers the screen.

I rolled back with factory settings to the previous version 25.1.1 to fix the issue. But this is odd.

Just in case, I haven't tweaked anything. The driver settings were out of the box without any changes.

 

I noticed that on the new driver, during flickering, the system's visual effects worked more slowly.
