I’ve been struggling to game and stream with 1440p monitor, 3080ti gpu, Ryzen 9 3900x cpu and 32 gb ram. A lot of people suggested upgrade cpu to Ryzen 7 5700x3D but I looked up and compared them it’s only 10% performance difference. Looking for advice.

When gaming is concerned, then yes. The 5700X3D will trample over the 3900X.

The 5700X3D will even even take a bite at newer gen CPUs

Upgraded from 3900x to 5700x3d, playing games at 1440p such as dota2, deadlock and path of exile while running a 3080, games definitely ran better
