Hello,
I'm experiencing display issues with my RX 6600 XT on Windows 11 when using AMD drivers newer than version 32.0.11027.2001 (dated 11/20/2024).
Problem Description:
Windows fails to correctly detect the video adapter.
I cannot change screen resolution.
The monitor is not properly identified.
These issues occur regardless of whether I use HDMI or DisplayPort.
System Details:
GPU: Radeon RX 6600 XT
Monitor: Philips 272V8
OS: Windows 11 (Version 10.0.22631 Build 22631)
Working driver version: 31.0.12044.3 (dated 10/25/2022)
Problematic driver version and newer: 32.0.11027.2001 (dated 11/20/2024) and all newer releases
When using the older driver (31.0.12044.3), everything works normally — resolution options are available, and the monitor is properly recognized.
I've tested clean installs using DDU, and the issue persists with newer drivers.
Request for Support:
Has anyone else experienced this issue with newer drivers?
Is there a known workaround or fix available?
I'd appreciate any help or guidance from AMD support or the community.
Thank you!
