Request for AMD Fluid Motion Frames 2 (AFMF2) Support on Linux

Hello AMD Team,

I am writing to request support for AMD Fluid Motion Frames 2 (AFMF2) on Linux operating systems. As a Linux user, I am unable to utilize this feature because it is not currently supported in Linux drivers, unlike on Windows where it is available through AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition. AFMF2 significantly enhances frame rates in games, providing a smoother and more enjoyable gaming experience, which is something that Linux gamers are currently missing out on.

Linux is gaining popularity, especially among gamers and developers, with devices like the Steam Deck leading the way. The demand for high-performance features on Linux is growing, and integrating AFMF2 into Linux drivers would not only improve the gaming experience for Linux users but also strengthen AMD's position in the Linux graphics market.

I kindly ask you to consider adding AFMF2 support to Linux drivers. Any updates or plans regarding this would be greatly appreciated if shared with the community.

Additionally, if you are a user who would benefit from AFMF2 support on Linux—whether you are a Linux user or a Windows user who supports cross-platform compatibility—please show your support by liking this post and leaving a comment. Your support can help make this feature a reality for all users.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
