Dear AMD Support,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am currently experiencing an issue with my laptop's dedicated GPU (Radeon RX 5600M) on Windows 10. After multiple driver installations, the system still refuses to properly recognize the RX 5600M.
Here is a summary of the issue and what I have tried so far:
In Device Manager, both the integrated GPU and the RX 5600M appear without error.
However, in Task Manager Performance, only the integrated GPU is shown there is no data for the RX 5600M.
I tried installing both the latest drivers and the recommended stable version (22.5.1 WHQL).
I also performed a clean driver uninstall using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) in Safe Mode.
Most recently, I used the Factory Reset option in AMD Adrenalin Software, which reinstalled the default driver version. After this, the Adrenalin Software refuses to open entirely.
I have made sure Windows 10 is fully up to date, and no other GPU drivers are interfering.
At this point, I am unsure whether the problem is with the driver, the Adrenalin software, or something else.
Could you please assist me in resolving this issue, or suggest any specific driver version or configuration for laptops with the RX 5600M?
Thank you very much in advance for your help.
Best regards,
robert jornet
