Hi, this is my first post.
EDIT: There is an 0x15 error related to amdkmdap on Event Viewer, haven't found any case like mine. Just people crashing on already installed drivers.
EDIT 2: 19.5.1 didn't work either.
EDIT 3: Same problem on Windows 7.
EDIT 4: Just bought a new cable, same problem.
Issue
Recently, I've bought a XFX R7 360 from a friend. It worked fine in his setup, and I've bought the cable he was using as well.
As soon as I try to install the lastest drivers the screen goes black, when rebooting it goes black after the Windows logo, and DDU didn't helped.
The GPU is working fine under Linux (using both radeon and amdgpu modules), so I doubt it's a Hardware issue.
My BIOS is at the lastest version, too.
Hardware
- ASRock H61M-HG4
- Intel Core i3 2100
- 4GB DDR3-1333
- 300W
- XFX Radeon R7 360 (R7-360P-2NF5)
- Samsung SyncMaster P2370 connected via HDMI -> DVI cable
Software
I've tried to install it's Drivers on both Windows 10 1809 and the lastest Insider Preview (Build 18343 ATM). Same problem on both of them.
I tried to install the drivers on UEFI (Secure Boot on and off) and CSM, no success.
