My main monitor goes black occasionally when watching videos. Any video like fox news, cnn, etc., except youtube does not crash. I only use the chrome browser. I have to restart to get the monitor back. On restart the AMD driver has been reset.
This monitor is connected with a display port cable in the first plug and only display port plug on the video card.
Event viewer shows no errors. I keep AMD Adrenaline interface on my second monitor and it shows the temps in the seventies when this happens. Adrenaline logs do not show temp spikes.
This started after installing AMD Adrenaline 22.5.1. I would roll back but Modern Warfare 2 requires a 22.5.1 or newer.

Known issue that was supposed to be resolved in the 22.11.2 driver. I resolved it when I moved off x570 5950x to z790 13900k and my xfx 6900xt suddenly stopped blanking out even though I was running the same driver on the amd hardware.
I currently have 22.11.2 and it is still crashing on video.
Not games, but it crashed on video.
No one has any info for this?
Anyone have any ideas?
It worked for me:

Seems like Windows doesn't work well with Adrenaline
ok, i tried it. Easy enough, but i couldnt find a way to overclock. I run my 5700 at 5700 XT settings via More Power Tools. I tried MSI Afterburner, but MSIA wouldnt let me go past the 5700 maxes.
Didnt work, just had the same crash.
