Issue: if i reset my driver settings my game runs fine, but not good even with the lowest possible settings, when i have my browser open. Without my browser open it runs better, but still not good. I needed to upgrade my PC, because my GPU died. Before the Upgrade I used a 1080 TI and a i7 9700KF. Not the best build but the performance was way better. I had no real issues when playing games on high / highest settings, streaming my games using Discord and watching a YouTube video at the same time. I only noticed problems after upgrading my monitor to a 2k 165hz Alienware monitor. After upgrading my PC i reset my System Harddrive and installed everything from scratch.
Returning to my driver, when i start to change some settings like Anti Lag, telling the driver to use the application settings for multiple options and Enhanced Sync all to active, my game starts to run fine but the other monitor (which is only a HD monitor) using the browser / discord is starting to stutter like crazy. For videos its like 5-10 fps (the sound still plays without any issues). Without my driver it feels like the pc is running better than with the driver installed. That really shouldnt be the case.
I get to choose between a smooth and good loking game, with everything else lagging like hell, or a lagging and dragging game, with everything else working fine.
My goal is to play games in high / highest settings without any issues in 2k, while still being able to watch videos or stream stuff to my friends without issues. I think my pc is and should be strong enough to handle all that, but it performs worse than my previous pc which was weaker than it is now. Since the Upgrade im really frustrated and i dont know what to fix or do about it. The Browser im normally using is Opera GX, ive tried others like Edge and Chrome, both with the same problems. I tried closing everything except the games i play and still get the stuttering. The games i tried are Destiny 2 (my main game), Black Myth Wukong, Elden Ring, Overwatch 2 and Minecraft.
Im using the newest Armoury Crate App and the newest Radeon Adrenaline Application.
