Hey there!
I'm having major audio issues ever since upgrading my GPU from a GTX970 to the RX 7900XT. While playing games, occasionally my audio will completely glitch out and be unusable. In this scenario, what I do is unplug the audio interface and re-plug it back in. That usually solves it.
But here's the problem. I'm a professional producer/composer/mixer and so audio and video are what I do constantly. I've had zero audio issues when I'm just working in audio software but editing videos in Davinci Resolve has become almost impossible since upgrading the GPU. The audio starts to glitch out and resetting the audio interface doesn't do anything.
I have disabled all of the AMD audio drivers, I've set Davinci to use the GPU as necessary, and all of my settings are the exact same as before I changed the GPU. Davinci is running worse now and it's a big problem.
I'm using the audio drivers from my audio interface for everything (Komplete Audio 6 mk2).
I figured I would ask here first before I submit a ticket for support because this is really affecting my work. You can hear the glitch I'm talking about in the video. You can also see performance in that video. There is a single CPU spike right when I hit play, but that's normal for Davinci. The spike isn't causing the audio glitch.
Note that I haven't changed any other hardware and the audio is performing this way.
Any help is appreciated.
