I recently built a new computer with a Ryzen 5 5600 cpu and a Radeon 5700 card, with Windows 11. Perfectly standard settings.
I run the latest Adrenalin software and switched off Zero RPM when configuring the card. But every other restart I see that Adrenalin has switched it on again. Sometimes it remembers for four whole days, then it switches it on again.
If I play games I only notice it when I see in the temp corner overlay that the card starts getting really hot (90 celsius) but the fans don't engage, because apparently Zero-RPM means "don't follow the fan curve I set up for when the card runs hot".
I've defended AMD against the green team for 20 years but I'm starting to have doubts if I have to open the software and have the Zero-RPM greyed out and on main screen every time I play a game.
