Adrenalin drivers doesn't work with AMD Radeon (TM) R7 M340 (Lap Top) (Dual Graphic Card)

Hi to everyone,

Firts of all let me tell you the next things:

  • I already updated Windows 7  (Full updates)
  • It's a Lap Top with Dual Graphic Cards (integrate & Dedicate)
  • I did  a reinstalation of Windows 7 (Clean instalation)
  • BIOS is already updated to the last version
  • Drivers AMD uninstalled with DDU Sowftware on Safe Mode, and Reinstalled
  • When I installed again Adrenalin, I blocked Windows Update before instalation of Adrenalin

Okay, Now let's goin to see my computer especifications:

  • CPU : Intel Core i7 6500U 2.50GHz
  • Mainborad: HP 81EC  ///  BIOS: Last Update F50
  • Memory:  DDR4  8GB
  • Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 520  &  AMD Radeon (TM) R7 M340
  • Version of Windows: Windows 7 Home Premium x64 bits

And finally, we arrive to the problem:

I installed Adrenalin 21.5.2 Recommended (WHQL)

The instalation went correctly, but then when I reboot my PC I can't open Adrenalin Software and either AMD Drivers works

(Please check Screenshot (2 ) --> It Shows the error when I open Adrenalin)

Resumme: I have the Drivers but the Device Manager show me a yellow error mark

(Please check Screencshot (3) --> It Show the yellow error mark)

I tried all things to fixe this problem but I don't find any solutions.

What is your notebook model exactly? HP what?

So I can get you the latest drivers for your chipset and GPU from HP.

Hi,

The model of my Lap Top is HP Pavilion.

With Intel/AMD laptops the Intel graphics must be installed before the AMD graphics driver. Go to Intel Support and run their update program...install all it finds. Then install the AMD drivers.

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download-center/home.html

Make sure you are fully updated from Windows Update first.

You should use GPU-Z instead of CPU-Z. https://www.techpowerup.com/download/techpowerup-gpu-z/  When you run it, look at the bottom of the results and select which graphics card...Intel or AMD.
