Hi,
Running latest AMD driver 23.3.1, the DX12 HairWorks do not seem to be working, or stuck in low tessellation mode.
(OS: Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 17763)
Hairworks is set to 8x AA and High preset.
CDPR pretty much ignored this, blamed drivers/card. Some people did not have this issue on older cards, or after complete system re-do it was working for them... redoing system for a game is... a no.
I tried overriding tessellation for the game, but it didn't affect anything - i don't think the options in the drivers affect any dx12 titles.
DX11 mode works just fine.
bump
After doing a clean setup, now even dx11 looks like that.
bump.
Monday bump
bump mid week.
23.3.2 drivers tested, still an issue.
end of the week bump
(a clean setup didn't help.)
new week, new bump.
another day, another bump.
All I need is someone (amd) telling me they are looking at this - or will take a look at it... Nothing more.
midweek bump.
Thursday bump
Fill out a bug report using the bug reporting tool. I would not expect a direct response for such a small issue.
I already did, on few occasions. No response, no fix so far.
Figured out a temporary solution on how to fix it

Get v 1.3 classic, copy over the .parc dxcache shader that version generates in \AppData\Local\AMD\DxCache\, and rename, and replace ones that are being newly generated by new dx11/dx12 version witcher 4.x
