Hello, I am Using Windows 11 and I used to get the toggle for HDR on / off but after a certain update I do not get it. In details it shows HDR certificate missing. I am having all latest updates and my specification are as following:
CPU: AMD RAYZEN 9 7900X3D
GPU: AMD RX 7900 GRE by Asrock
Motherboard: Asrock B650e Steel Legend.
Note the BIOS and all the drivers related to GPU etc are up to date. ALSO, THE AMD PRIVACY VIEW IS ALSO NOT WORKING IN THE ADRENALIN SOFTWARE.
Could this be an issue with the Samsung G7 'HDR certificate' not being available from the monitor settings? Have you checked the Samsung website for any software updates to the monitor drivers?
Also, the new AMD support forums are where you should be posting any AMD-related issues. That will require a new user ID / logon.
these mofos from Samsung always did this this! so annoying...
not found but it's working pfff... why can't they do it properly. i bet it's like you said, it's the certificate that's causing his problem.
Yes I have checked with them and no monitor company now a days provide any driver. The most interesting thing is when I install Windows 11 at first the HDR is there but right after the update its gone. I believe its Microsoft's problem down to the hardware to software communication i.e., the kernel level.
no, i bet it's Samsung's fault.
