I hope to build a new system in the next month or two. Hopefully, it will be with a 9800X3D and a 9070; I'm not sure what variant of the 9070 yet. As I am the one that does the "Tech Deals" posts for the forum, I am keeping my eyes open for deals, but there really hasn't been many in the last couple of months. With the trade war, I'm not sure what is going to happen, but I am Canadian, and we generally get better deals than our southern neighbors from what I've noticed in the last couple of years of posting. It's a waiting game for me.
I hope we can drop the idea of placing tariffs on our friends and neighbors and that you get to build an awesome PC.
I'm planning to build a new system soon, likely with a 9800X3D and a 9070 (variant still undecided). As the one who posts "Tech Deals" on the forum, I've been watching closely, but deals have been scarce lately. Being in Canada, I’ve noticed we often get better prices than the U.S., so I’m playing the waiting game for now.
I recently built 'Green with Envy', my combination plant rack / gaming computer. I think I need to hold off on building another computer until at least the fall, for the sake of my marriage.
I'm excited to see your build though, so take a lot of pictures as you assemble it.
Good evening, having very little experience in construction and this was many years ago, I am thinking of starting a system with the AMT 58600G processor, which I have ordered. I have not decided on a motherboard yet, I am thinking:MSI B840 GAMING PLUS WIFI Motherboard ATX με AMD AM5 Socket or MSI PRO B840-P WIFI Motherboard ATX με AMD AM5 Socket their price is around 150€, for the rest I have no idea, if you have any idea to enlighten me, i would really like it thanks
I built a computer without a GPU, using the AMD 5600G CPU with integrated graphics, in my Talk 2 the Hand computer back in June of 2022. I used a B550M motherboard but it was for an AM4 socket.
What are your planned uses for this new build? If you want to game, then going with integrated graphics is not a good idea - you need a discrete GPU. If it's for casual web browsing and perhaps streaming music (my usage for the above build), then integrated graphics works fine.
The most I can do is one or two edits in Photoshop. With my current very old system I waste a lot of time. I think the 5 8600g It is sufficient
Yes but it took a while. I won a Ryzen 5 7600X in the sweeps. So I started collecting parts to move up to the AM5 platform.
Ryzen 5 7600X
ASRock B650E PG Riptide WiFi
ASRock RX 6600 Challenger D ( the last piece the build)
750 watt PSU
Tforce 3200mhz 32gb memory
Samsung 990 evo plus 1tb Nvme
Coolermaster 240 AIO cooler
6 Thermaltake Riing rgb fans
Lg Bluray burner
Win 10 Pro
The build is very stable and quiet but I would like to replace the fans so I can control fans from motherboard if anyone has suggestions on rgb fans that play well with asrock.
What are you using to control the fans now? Can't you plug them into the fan headers on the motherboard?
No they are Thermaltake Ring 2 fans and use a controller. I have six fans and use 2 controllers. Fans are quiet and do the job. 2 on the AIO Cooler and one in rear-then 3 in front. Temps range from 30 to 70 c.
I just did a re-build.
I was planning to sell my current build off _red devil 6800XT/5900X etc and go with
But tbh I'm less enthusiastic with the industry these days and not sure if i'll bother upgrade at all.
