Water physics being calculated by videocard (chip)

It would be awesome if finally the liquids calculations from 3d animation programs would seep over into videocards.

They've been doing it it for 30+ years in 3d animating software.

Water physics (liquids) needs some love.
How about a special chip for it?

How about some more details on what you are talking about here?  Are you suggesting that games could be improved if more calculations are performed on the video card?
