OpenCL Stream installation

Hello everybody,

When I installed ATI Stream SDK, the dll are located in

C:/Program Files/ATI Stream/bin/x86/ . But there is no OpenCL.dll, instead there is atiocl64.dll. Unfortunatly, all my opencl programs ar looking for opencl.dll, and I had to rename manually atiocl64.dll to opencl.dll ... Is it the right way to install ATI Stream sdk ??? Why don't the installer put the right name ???

nico,

openCL.dll file is present in C:\Windows\System32. You should not rename atiocl.dll. Are you able to run samples in this configuration.

No, there is no opencl.dll file in system32 after the installation. But it seems that the installer add C:/Program Files/ATI Stream/bin/x86/ to the path variable. What can explain that opencl.dll is missing in system32 ?

I would suggest you to reinstall the SDK after completely un-installing it.

OpenCL.dll must be in system32 folder.

Can you find openCL.dll anywhere else in your system.

Are you able to run samples?

Also please provide the system specification:CPU,GPU,SDK,Driver,OS.
