gpu perfstudio

I am on debian jessie 8.2 and I just downloaded gpu perfstudio version 3.3

after looking through the files it seems that I need the windows version of perfstudio as well. Can I run it through wine or a virtual box or something else? Is there a way to setup perfstudio on linux?

Re: gpu perfstudio

Okay, I was able to setup wine on debian 8 and install perfstudio 3.3 on the wine system, start the application on my linux box and connect to it remotely via wine.

what's the problem? Currently I cannot do anything with the windows client except look at the shader.

It's a little tiny screenshot but here's what it looks like after I've connected to the running application.

Re: gpu perfstudio

I installed virtualbox on my laptop and installed windows 10. Same output, why can't I gain access to any of the other functionality with gpuperf? My laptop has a 750M. I don't know what's going on?

Is there any reason why the client can't also be run on linux? It seems like a webserver, what windows specifics does this program need in order to run properly?
