I've turned off Zero RPM mode on my RX580, but after starting up, the fans do not kick in. I have to go to Radeon settings to turn the mode on and off once to get the fans to start. Is this a normal behaviour or does the GPU have to reach a certain temperature for the fans to start?
(I've turned off Zero RPM mode because I live in an area with high ambient temps and the gpu gets up to 45 degress Celcius on idle)
I believe fan kicks in around high 40s', you can run a GPU-Z render test to see at what temp fans kick in.
It's a Powercolor mining model.
I previously thought that gpu fans should always run even on idle.
I'll experiment with the settings for a bit to know more about the settings
Thanks very much for your assistance, it's been a great help answering my question.
