I was thinking of buying a wx series card for my workstation. Until I noticed that there’s hardly any 64 double precision,

why have amd ditched the double precision?

i have both the w8100 and the W 9100. for cfd software.

These cards are high in 64 double.......

the the wx series do have high single precision but. Dam D precision is a fraction of the w series.

anyone????

This has been a business decision to move the GPGPU capability of the boards to our new MI-Series. WX-Series are gor CAD/AEC/M&E and those verticals do not need DP
