So answer to your question is YES.
Edit: But this is possible with 30 hertz for 4K.

It's a shame, I wanted a Quad HD monitor that works at 60Hz, 75Hz, 144Hz.

How can someone work behind a 30Hz monitor? Vision deteriorates.

AMD RX 550 (affordable GPU) comes with support for 4K 60 hertz. If this resolution and FPS is enough for you, you may want to consider purchasing this GPU. But I don't know if there is an AMD GPU with 4K 144 hertz support. I would highly recommend a new generation nVidia GPU for such high monitors. For someone who already owns this kind of expensive monitor, I think purchasing a good nVidia GPU won't be too difficult.
