I'm not a gamer, and I'd like a GPU specifically to enhance the editing experience in Vegas Pro 14, 15 and 16. I am often editing high-bitrate 4k HEVC videos.
My processor is an Intel i7-8700k and currently with only integrated graphics. I've been advised that AMD has a stronger OpenCL implementation than NVIDIA. Vegas Pro uses OpenCL for GPU acceleration.
I'll admit, I default to team green, so I am not at all familiar with AMD's lineup. Could someone familiar with it please point me in the right direction?
I mainly would like to know if I'd be better off with something from the WX, RX, RX Vega lineup, or if it wouldn't make a difference?
My price range is somewhere between $300-700.
