  • Sapphire Nitro RX580 / RX570 Series.

I imagine this is the same type of fan on your RX 570 card. So the maximum speed is 3200 RPM.

What tool are you using?

3rd party GPU controlling software like MSI Afterburner or Trixx or Asus Tweak II are not totally compatible with AMD WATTMAN that is part of the AMD Driver package even it is not activated.

You should activate and use AMD Wattman to configure your GPU fans for proper operation and uninstall the 3rd party software. Even though, some people have no problems using 3rd party software with AMD GPUs and it is recommended to uninstall it.

Someone like kingfish or other experienced Users can show you how to properly configure Wattman for your Rx 570 GPU card.

Using overdriveNTool. And that program is telling me max fan speed is about 2600rpm. Hmmm.

Win 10 pro.

Amd 18.3.4 drivers.

Wattman?? Try to use amd setttings with 13 gpu. Takes forever to edit settings:)

Oh, this is a mining rig?

Googled the tool. It seems to be similar to Wattman for Mining Rigs with many GPU's. Don't know if that tool will cause any conflict with the AMD Drivers and Wattman.

When you post you should mention that you have a Mining Rig. It helps to direct other Users with better suggestions.

I believe when they mention FAN ACOUSTICS they are referring to the DBA (Decibel) sound level of the fans at different RPMs.

Found this that does mention the Dual-x Fan RPM speeds: https://gzhls.at/blob/ldb/9/c/0/f/7176ae9c3fcdb59b44f7acaa44fc17941f77.pdf

Thanks. Will ask them.

I just noticed that fan max is 2150. Acoustic (MHz) is 1340.

Found this thread from AMD Forum explaining what MHz means concerning Fan noise: What is Min. Acoustic Limit in Wattman settings? .
