What does 'Max Resolution' mean and with Multiple Monitors?

I was looking on the ATI 480 and looking to get multiple monitors.  I read the specs on online shops that the 'Max Resolution' is 4096 x 2160.   I'm confuse on what that means. Does that mean I can get three (4096 x 2160) since it DP 1.4?   I was thinking about getting one 4K Monitor and one 5K monitor would that work with a ATI 480?

The Link of the Video Card I'm thinking to get.  XFX Radeon RX 480 RX480M8BFA6 8GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Video Card - Newe...

Those specs are not accurate. 480 cards support HDMI 2.0b and Displayport 1.3 / 1.4 ready.

HDMI 2.0b supports a max of 4K at 60Hz

Displayport 1.2 supports 5K at 30Hz, Displayport 1.3 supports 5K monitors at 60Hz (and upto 120Hz max with Displayport 1.4 if the display uses Display Stream Compression)

But how will you do it for multi-monitor setup?   Would a 480 Support one 4K monitor and another 5 K Monitor?  Or maybe 3 4K monitors?

A single card can have multiple monitors connected.
