Upgrading Graphics card and potentially CPU?

I have 0 tech knowledge about computer components and I have some issues playing games like Borderlands 3 or Fallout 76. I was wanting to find out what an optimal graphics card / CPU I need to have in order to run the games smoothly. Price range is 350$. I am currently using the AMD Ryzen 5 1400 Quad-Core Processor 4 Cores and the AMD Radeon(TM) RX 560 series. Would appreciate any constructive input. Thanks.

best GPU would be to buy a RX 580 4G for around 200€ // i have the Sapphire Nitro+ RX 580 4G - its a good card
your CPU would be fine - but you could look on ebay on a Ryzen 2600 or 2700 for around 100-150€

this wouldnt break your budget

YET you could also wait for the RX 6600XT - but your Ryzen 5 1400 would maybe bottleneck it :/

PC: R7 2700X @PBO + RX 580 4G (1500MHz/2000MHz CL16) + 32G DDR4-3200CL14 + 144hz 1ms FS P + 75hz 1ms FS
Laptop: R5 2500U @30W + RX 560X (1400MHz/1500MHz) + 16G DDR4-2400CL16 + 120Hz 3ms FS
