I have a Sapphire 5700 XT Nitro with a fan that spontaneously goes to 1,500 RPM for about 20 seconds when it feels like it.

In Adrenalin 20.1 and below, in the Tuning tab under the Performance category, it's possible to set a manual fan speed of 10% (the minimum) which puts the fans at a constant, quiet, 540 RPM.

With Adrenalin 20.2.2 this minimum limit is now 26%, which is very audible.

Any remedy? Something I can tune in the registry?

I'd open a bug (unless it's a "feature"; a dumb one at that), but have no idea where.

Help would be appreciated.

it's a feature. so ramp up speeds can be better.

use MorePowerTool to set minimums.

Didn't realize such thing exists.

Solved both the minimum fan speed and the random fan swings (by changing the Zero RPM start temp).
