I'm writing this because I don't know why my computer has slowed down so significantly. Used to average 60 fps on most games on the default settings, now a few months later since I built my pc I get about 30 fps on low settings on most games. My specs are a Ryzen 3 3200G 3.60 GHz with 16 GB RAM and a RX580 Red Devil 8GB. Anyone know why it would suddenly slow down?

That's far too vague to get a useful answer.  What games?  Have games that used to run at 60fps gone down to 30fps?  Are you talking about old games running at 60fps and new ones running at 30fps?

I'll use red dead redemption 2 as an example. It used to run 60 fps fine, now its a slow, stuttery nightmare.

That's a very demanding game, and I have my doubts you ever got 60fps with that hardware.

I would look at your detail settings to make sure they're set reasonably.
