One one my 3 monitors is dimmed when exiting from 3-monitor Eyefinity setup. I need to turn off GPU scaling to restore brightness. If GPU scaling isn't on, turning on/off Eyefinity doesn't dim the monitor.
The dimmed monitor is HDMI while the others are DP if that matters. I run 21.4.1 version software.
