screen artefacts rx 6800

Hi,

While playing I have some weird screen artefacts little blue and white flashy pixels in my screen, I literally tried everything I could but nothing helped so maybe someone can help me who has more knowlegde my GPU also goes on like 80% while gaming. Do I have a dying/dead GPU?

Hope to hear a responds soon.

Hi,

artifacting like that is not good

I would try the card in another system if you can or run another card in yours.
Try re-seating the card or cleaning the metal contacts gently.
Check display cable, although this is somewhat a remote chance but give it a go.
Do you have enough juice from your PSU?

Try using undervolt GPU option to see if it helps.

Try stress testing with other tools or benchmarking.

And lastly post some system specs.

Good Luck

Thank you for the quick responds, Here are some specs:

RX 6800 GPU, Ryzen 7 5800X CPU, 750 watt PSU,IO water cooler, 16 GB RAM

Also I already checked the Display cable and there's nothing wrong with it.

And I think 750 Watt is enough for this system correct me if I am wrong tho.

750Watt is enough for sure.

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news but I would check that card in another system.

Another good hint for troubleshooting purposes: Try the MSI afterburner and seriously underclock the card and VRAM.

Thanks again for replying.

I am going to try the card in another system, and I also tried MSI afterburner with some underclocking to the base clock which is 1700 MHZ and the slowest I can clock the memory is 2000 MHZ so should I try to go lower than 1700 MHZ?

Its just for troubleshooting, try it.

If its still artifacting, its not good.

Does it happens in all games? Try a Heaven run maxed out full screen.

It only happens in heavier games like Modern warfare 2 and also a bit in CSGO but the GPU is less than 2 months old so if nothing helps I will send it back because than there must be some factory defect or something

Try this one, old but gold and widely used

Alright thanks mate definitely gonna try that one. But I am almost a 100% sure that there is something wrong with my GPU

I just did the benchmark on extreme and fullscreen and it was even worse big blue area's on the screen and the flashy pixels I wanted to send a screenshot but the file was too big. But there is defenitely something wrong with my GPU should I send it back it still has warranty I just got like less than 2 months or should I still try it in a different PC?

Sure looks like it

I would still give it a go in another system or another PCI-E slot (if you have one extra) just to be sure.

Check this and see if the artifacting looks similar

I already tried it in a different PSI slot and it gives the same issues.

So I am pretty much gonna send it back, because this has to be a factory defect or something.

And my artifacting looks a bit different than on that website.
