Dear AMD Community,

i bought a AMD Ryzen 7 3700X and installed it. After I did that, my rx580 did not turn on again. It is from Gigabyte and has a little led that gives info about the Power supply. My led is on and that means that no power cable is plugged in. However, there is a power cable plugged into it. Why will it not turn on?

specs:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700X (before it was a Ryzen 5 2400G)

PSU: Corsair CX650M Bronze 

GPU: AMD rx580 8Gb from gigabyte

MOTHERBOARD: msi B350 PC MATE

Hej,

I think you may need a BIOS update for that CPU on your board.
