I recently bought the Gigabyte RX 5700 XT GAMING OC.
I had some driver issues after inserting it into my PC, but I managed to get everything working after all.
There is one more issue left, that I can't find a solution for.
The HDMI port doesn't seem to work correctly, I can't get a signal on my TV.
Both my monitor and my TV worked with my GTX 970 and with onboard graphics but right after installing the driver I couldn't get a signal anymore after POST.
I am able to enter the BIOS however but the signal is lost during boot.
If I connect my TV when I am logged in to Windows sometimes the TV has a signal for a split second and then it goes black again. After my new monitor with Displayport arrived I thought it was just a problem with my old monitor but now I experience the same issue on my TV with all of my HDMI cables.
So it seems to be a driver related problem or maybe defective hardware. I searched for AMD GPU users with the same issues, most ended up buying a RTX 2070 Super apparently.
Does anybody know what to do?
I'm kind of stuck here, thinking about returning the card as well
