Hi folks,
I’ve come here today to get some answers regarding the RX570 (specifically the Strix 4GB) and it’s compatibility with the 2011 Dell XPS 8300.
Some forum posts have stated that due to the motherboard on the 8300 using legacy bios, the 570 doesn’t support the 8300, but one forum post I found on the AMD community forums stated otherwise (at least with an RX480).
Is there any way I can use the 570 in a system this old? I’ve been wanting to upgrade for ages and a friend of mine is switching to a 1070 so he offered his Strix 4GB for $80. Idk whether to take the offer or not with this issue looming over me.
