RX480 low fps/stutter when playing A plague tale innocent

I have super low FPS with A plague tale: innocent.

Just played the first scene/chapter, not even get to the rat scene yet but it's completely unplayable.

Not sure if I need to change any settings or AMD just suck.

RX480 is the recommended system requirements, but here I am with all graphic options set to low and still unable to play.

My spec:
i5 6600 3.3GHz

MSI RX480 Gaming X 8GB

16GB RAM

Main Display: Dell U2414H 1080p (and 1 other Dell, tried disconnecting it but no luck)

Windows 10

Radeon software 20.5.1

Does anyone have the same issue?

You could try setting your power plan to high performance to see if it helps.

The problem are all those frame times spikes, for steady 60fps you need frame times of 16.6ms.

Are you running the game from a HDD or a SSD?

Limiting your FPS would probably give you a more steady gameplay experience.

Thanks for the suggestion. Seems you're right.

If I cap the min & max FPS at 60fps using Radeon Chill, the game runs quite smooth ... at 90% scale (1080p, low settings).

Set to 100% and it stutters again.

Btw I'm using SSD for both windows & game.

I'll try to tweak more settings when I have time.
