I just purchased a TUF RX 6900XT after my RX 3090 died on me. However, i’m experiencing something I didn’t with the 3090. Which is unstable GPU usage and horribly hitching (when playing COD: Cold War & Battlefield V on ultra settings on 1440) Nothing in my rig has changed. Usually when i’m playing - my GPU usage goes from roughly 80% down to 2% then back up to 90% and it constantly fluctuates. With my 3090, I held a solid 90+% all throughout gaming. My rig is as follows:
Ryzen 9: 5950x
ROG: Corsshair VIII x570
M2. Seagate Firecuda 520
G.Skill Trident Z Royal (32GB)
EVGA Supernova 1000W - 80Plus Gold
I’ve never done OC. I usually run my rig stock with the exception of my RAM. Currently i’m running my RAM on 3200.
Anyone have tips or recommendations?
