Rx 6800

Hi everyone,

After a couple of sheit years i finally got a replacment for my 1080ti.

A radeon rx6800.

But it gets really hot.

Especially the hotspot, where 92 to a 100 degrees celcius is very common.

And the core is around 60c celcius.

Is this alright?

My specs are:

Ryzen 5 5600x

Gigabyte b550i auros ax

2x16gb ddr4 g.skill 3200mhz

Cooler master n200p

2x14cm noctua fans on the bottom.

2x12 noctua fans at the top.

2x8cm noctua fans at the rear.

750 watt corsair stx psu.

They can run up to a max of 110c so still safe temps.

Make sure to set up a decent fan curve in the radeon software to help with the cooling. Leaving it at stock isn't ideal imo

Mini-ITX builds are specially hot (hot hot hot), there's not much to go from here.

Troubleshoot your graphics card in an "OpenBench" style and remove the side panels to see its temps. They should look like this:

Also, dig a bit around other forums and gather info about it.

Good luck!
