RX 580 Pixel Stretch Artifact Problem

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with multiple games (World War Z, Modern Warfare). As you can see from this video (not mine but this is what it looks like) there seems to be some pixel stretching happening. I tried underclocking but the problem still persist. I think it's not a problem of overheat though, since in Modern Warfare, the problem happens right after opening the game. In WWZ though, it will happen after a while, like an hour or two.

SPECS:

  • Gigabyte RX 580 8Gb MI
  • Ryzen 5 2400G
  • 2x4gb 2400mhz RAM
  • Corsair VS550
  • Win 10 1909 (Updated)

Hello
Have you tried the troubleshooting steps listed here?
Troubleshooting Common AMD Graphics Driver Installation Problems
If these don't fix the issue then most likely your graphics unit is faulty and you should proceed an RMA

Yes, I already tried that. I even reinstalled Windows 10. No luck.

An OC that was previously made to the video memory of your graphics card might cause the graphics card to be damaged.

I haven't OC'd this GPU though. Only the CPU.

Your graphics card looks like damaged.

Dang, I hope this is not the case. I still don't have the money to buy a new one because of the quarantine.

Sorry. With WattMan, you can try to reduce GPU and VRAM speeds. You may not get results but it can be tried.

I have the same issue started recently with RX 580

Can you please try testing your VRAM using OCCT Memtest? I got thousands of errors with it.
