Hey everyone, I was hoping you pros could help a new PC builder out. A few months ago I built my first budget PC and here were the specs:
Mobo: MSI B450M Max Pro-M2
Ram: 16gb DDR4 3000mhz
CPU/GPU: Ryzen 5 3400g
Windows 10
I recently bought an RX 580 8gb for the next upgrade. I have all my drivers installed and updated. When I connected the GPU to my TV (I haven't bought a good monitor yet b/c college is expensive) the video/display was perfect, but I have no option for audio. When connected through the APU, the AMD High Definition Audio was the way my PC produced sound, but with the 580, thats not even appearing as an option.
I've tried the MSI mobo audio drivers, Realtek audio drivers, I tried enabling the audio through my BIOS, but nothing is working to get sound through this RX 580 via HDMI. Do you all know how I can fix this? I would greatly appreciate the help. Thank you deeply
