As the title says the card just stops functioning when i try to install AMDs drivers, the screen flickers then the display and fans stop working, the PC is still working as i can shut down with the power button, and on reboot the display works till windows finishes loading then the fans stop and the screen loses signal like before. I have to wipe drivers and i can get back into windows, but to do this i have to install an old 6950 which works flawlessly for what it is plays games fine. I bought a new PSU as well, but as the 6950 works fine i don't believe thats an issue. I've updated my bios, windows, defaulted bios graphics to PCIe, set PCIe slots to 3.0, did a windows reset, wiped the monitor registry, swapped HDMI cords, i currently use an adapter for my monitor because it doesn't have an HDMI port, even attempted to install the drivers through windows update and manually to the same failure. Don't know what else to try before getting it warrantied.
