Recently installed ASUS ROG Strix Radeon RX580 now pc won't start, help.

So yeah, I recently purchased and installed a ASUS ROG Strix Radeon RX580 and after installing it and turning it on my display won't work and the pc will not get past the startup phase, it roars like an engine and the graphics card glows red. I placed it into the PCIe slot and plugged in the 8-pin power cable, did I miss a step?

That's not good. I have that gpu, no roaring, the red glow might be from it's colourful leds.

What do you mean "startup phase" exactly???

What was in the computer before the 580 and what is your PSU?
